Terms, liability waiver and policies
Last updated: [DATE]. G-Code Nation is operated by Patriot Design LLC, a Kansas limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”).
Terms of service
By placing an order, you agree to these terms, the liability waiver, and the policies on this page.
What we provide
We create custom G-code files and a setup sheet based on the information you give us in the intake form. Files are built in Vectric Aspire for the machine, controller, bits, material and dimensions you list.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate and complete information on the intake form, including your measured material thickness.
- Use only the bits, material and settings listed on your order.
- Set your zero point at the bottom-left corner of the material, on the top surface, as shown on your setup sheet.
- Review the toolpath preview and check the job’s position before cutting, such as by jogging to its corners or running a short air cut.
- Operate your machine safely and never leave it running unattended.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
Turnaround
Standard orders are delivered within 2 to 3 business days after we receive a complete intake form and payment. If information is missing or unclear, we’ll email you, and the turnaround starts once we have everything we need. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees.
Weekly order limit
We accept a limited number of orders each week so every file gets checked by hand. When the week is full, ordering shows as sold out and reopens the following Monday.
Holiday deadlines
Before major holidays we post a last day to order. Orders placed after that date may not arrive in time to carve before the holiday.
Artwork you supply
If you send your own artwork, you confirm that you own it or have written permission to use it. We don’t convert trademarked or copyrighted logos and characters, such as sports teams, colleges, cartoon characters or company brands, unless you own them or have a license. We may decline any order, and we’ll refund you if we decline before work starts.
Prices and sales tax
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Any sales tax that applies is added at checkout.
Support
Support is by email only. We reply within one business day, Monday through Friday.
No warranty
Files are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that a file will work without error on your machine, because results depend on your machine’s condition, calibration, setup, material and operation, which we cannot see or control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for damage to machines, bits, materials, property or lost profits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted when you place your order applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of [Reno] County, Kansas.
Liability waiver and release
In plain terms: CNC machines can cause injury, fire and damage. You run the machine, so you are responsible for how it’s used. By ordering, you agree not to hold us responsible for injury or damage that happens while you use our files.
Please read this carefully. It affects your legal rights.
1. Risks I understand
I understand that operating a CNC router, spindle or similar machine involves serious risks, including:
- Cuts, punctures, crush injuries or amputation from moving parts and rotating bits
- Eye and body injury from broken bits, flying chips or material thrown from the machine
- Fire from heat, friction, sparks or dust buildup
- Hearing damage from noise, and breathing harm from wood dust
- Electrical hazards
- Damage to the machine, bits, spoilboard, clamps, material and surrounding property
2. My responsibilities
I agree that I am solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of the information I provide on the intake form
- The condition, maintenance, calibration and safe operation of my machine
- Securing my material, placing clamps and setting my zero point correctly
- Reviewing every file and checking the job’s position, clamp clearance and zero before cutting material
- Supervising the machine at all times while it is running
- Wearing eye protection, hearing protection and dust protection, and keeping a fire extinguisher nearby
- Following my machine manufacturer’s and bit manufacturer’s safety instructions
3. Assumption of risk
I knowingly and voluntarily accept all risks of injury, illness, death and property damage that may result from using files I receive from G-Code Nation, whether those risks are listed here or not.
4. Release
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release Patriot Design LLC, doing business as G-Code Nation, and its owners, employees and contractors from all claims, demands and liability for injury, illness, death, or damage to property arising from my use of the files, setup sheets or recommendations provided to me, including claims based on their negligence. This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
5. Indemnity
I agree to defend and hold harmless Patriot Design LLC from any claim made by another person related to my use of the files, including anyone who operates my machine or is present while it runs.
6. Agreement
I have read this waiver, I understand it, and I agree to it. I understand that checking the agreement box and typing my full name on the order form is my electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten signature. If any part of this waiver is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

- Before work starts: if we can’t support your machine or controller, we’ll refund you in full.

- Free revision: each order includes one free revision if the information on your intake form was accurate.
- Paid revision: if something changed on your end, such as a different bit, board or size, revisions are $[10].
- How to request one: email us within [14] days of delivery with your order number, a photo of the result, and your setup details.
File license
- You may use your files to cut as many pieces as you like on your own machines.
- You may sell finished physical pieces made with your files.
- You may not share, resell, give away or upload the files, setup sheets or designs, in original or modified form.
- Designs from the Patriot Nation Design catalog remain the property of Patriot Nation Design.
Privacy
We collect the information you give us on the order and intake forms, such as your name, email, machine details and project details, only to complete your order and contact you about it. Payments are processed by our checkout provider, and we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of each order, including your intake answers, your waiver agreement with its date and time, and the files we sent you, so we can support your order and keep accurate business records. We don’t sell your information. You can ask us to delete your personal information by emailing us, though we may keep order and waiver records as required for legal and tax purposes.
